1. About the portal and who operates it

The PAIR Competitions Portal is operated by Peter Unstead, trading as GAP Records and Pure AI Radio (PAIR). It is the home of Pure AI Radio's themed music competitions.

Using the portal — whether as a visitor, an entrant or a voter — means you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the portal.

2. Who may enter and vote

Competitions are open to AI music creators who are the creator of, or an authorised rights holder for, the track they enter. Entrants must provide a valid contact email; each creator may submit one song per competition.

Voting is open to the public. Each listener may cast one verified vote per competition, confirmed by a one-time code sent to their email address. You must not use multiple email addresses, devices or automated means to vote more than once.

3. Competition entries

By entering, you confirm that you are the creator of, or hold the rights to, the submitted track and artwork; that your entry complies with the competition rules and any AI-generation plan granting commercial rights; and that the information you provide is accurate.

You keep ownership of your music and artwork. By entering you grant Pure AI Radio a non-exclusive licence to host, stream, display and promote your entry within the portal and PAIR channels, solely to run and promote the competition.

Every entry is moderated before it appears publicly. PAIR may reject, disqualify or remove an entry that breaches these terms, the competition rules, or the rights of others. Moderation decisions may include internal reasons recorded for administration purposes.

4. Voting

Votes are counted only when they are verified by email and cast while voting is open. Attempting to manipulate results — including duplicate voting, bulk entries, automated voting or coordinated fraud — is not permitted.

PAIR monitors voting for suspicious activity and may flag, review and invalidate votes it considers fraudulent. PAIR may disqualify entries where manipulation is established.

5. Results and winners

The People's Choice award is determined by the highest number of valid public votes. The PAIR Producers Award is selected by PAIR. Results are published by PAIR once voting closes and votes have been verified.

Published results, including winners and finalists, are final. PAIR may withhold or correct results where fraud, technical error or a breach of these terms is found.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the portal. This includes unlawful use, fraud or spam, uploading hateful, defamatory or infringing material, infringing intellectual property rights, attempting to gain unauthorised access, and interfering with the security or operation of the portal (including introducing malware, probing, scraping or attempting to bypass voting restrictions).

7. Intellectual property

Pure AI Radio retains ownership of the portal itself and its intellectual property, including the software, branding and content we create. You may not copy or reuse portal material without permission.

8. Liability

The portal is provided on an as-is basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are excluded and Pure AI Radio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profits, data or goodwill) arising from use of the portal or participation in a competition. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version is always available on this page. Continued use of the portal after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
